D.C. motor driven drilling rigs have a modern AC-SCR-DC power system which is the most advanced in the world. The speed of drawworks, rotary table and mud pump can be electrically controlled to provide excellent drilling performance. The power system uses an A.C. frequency converter and digital control technology for enhanced performance during drilling operations

The substructure (H.7.5m./9m/10.5m) use a parallelogram elevator design, so the floor and mast can be installed at low height before elevating to the operating position.

The drawworks main drum brake is a hydraulic disc brake system with enhanced braking torque. The brake handle is located in the drillers control room. Thestand up in open airtype drillers position is changed into a sit down in the roomtype workstation so as to reduce drillers fatigue and provide an improved working environment.

The drawworks rotary drive is installed below the rig floor which provides more working room. It is convenient for maintenance, transportation and proper installation.

Auxiliary brake of the drawworks can be either an eddy current brake or EATON brake which improve drilling efficiency, save energy, increase control, improve reliability, and extend the service life of disc brakes and/or brake blocks. Drums are provided with grooves which improve line spooling.

Independent rotary table drives can be provided.

The adoption of modularized components and folding cable trays makes it easy to move.

Scope of rig equipment and standard parts make it convenient for maintenance.
